COVID-19 Statement

To all:

As part of our family, we want you to know we are committed to the safety and health of our Patients, Staff and communities. We closely monitor the latest announcements and guidelines from the CDC and World Health Organization and will provide updates to you as needed. Additionally, Dr. Mark Moss is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital and is up to date with the current public health recommendations in our city hospitals and area.

Dr. Scott Mckinney, Dr. Mark Moss, Dr. Jorge Cuza, Dr. Edna Reyes-Gurrero, and Dr. Hina Hassan will continue to extend our normal hours of operation and we will continue to offer patient appointments to our offices. We have also been offering Virtual appointments for certain types of problems. Please contact the respective office to see if a Virtual appointment would best suit you and your specific problem.

As the SARS-COV-2/COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS pandemic progresses, we will continue to evaluate the current and projected conditions as per the CDC and will make recommendations based upon those facts.

The best prevention methods are standard hygiene practices and self-monitoring. We have also placed additional preventative measures at all offices.

  • We will continue our rigorous cleaning protocols and will be using disposable disinfectant cleaning wipes throughout the offices multiple times per day and have reviewed these public health protocols with our entire staff
  • Our staff and patients are being monitored (similar to the hospitals) daily to ensure that we provide you with a safe environment as a patient

We are ensuring our Employees have the information they need to stay healthy as well as to protect our patients safety.

To best help prevent the spread of this disease, we urge you to please contact our office prior to any appointments if you believe you are exhibiting symptoms associated with SARS-COV-2/COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS.

Common symptoms of this virus may include: Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, Muscle Aches.

If you have been in direct contact with someone who tested presumptive positive, please follow the CDC guidelines and refrain from visiting CFAA and MPA offices until the designated time period has passed. If you have traveled internationally in the last few weeks to one of the countries with Level II or Level III warnings, please follow the guidelines provided by the CDC; countries with travel alerts are located here.

We continue to focus on providing a safe office for our patients. Please feel free to contact your doctors office with any concerns or questions.

Sincerely yours,

Drs. Mckinney, Moss, Cuza, Reyes-Gurrero, and Hassan
